Siren

She beckons me hither

As sirens do

I can’t resist the allure

As the moon pulls the tides

And the sun wills the moon

This sensation drowns me

A lone man to a monsoon

I sink within the seafoam

As she sings her song

An all too familiar tune

It ensnares me

An all too familiar scene

We are entangled

As moths into cinder

Goddess of the deep

I gaze upon you

As you loom unto me
